Forward Networks has appointed Bobby Condon as Chief Revenue Officer. Condon is a proven sales leader with considerable expertise scaling high-growth infrastructure companies through global expansion, IPOs, and major acquisitions. His hire, following the recent appointment of Chief Marketing Officer Sanjay Mehta, underscores Forward Networks’ commitment to investing in experienced leadership with a successful track record of scaling transformational technology companies.
Condon brings more than two decades of experience leading revenue organizations through transformative growth at companies that helped define the modern infrastructure landscape. He built his early foundation at Xerox and Oracle before moving into internet infrastructure, where he led high-performing teams at Dyn and Fastly.
At Dyn, he helped redefine how enterprises approached DNS reliability and contributed to the company’s eventual acquisition by Oracle. At Fastly, he played a central role in transforming the company from an emerging technology provider into a global platform with a client roster of “who’s who” in the media streaming business. He was instrumental in scaling revenue from two million dollars to 480 million dollars and launching a successful IPO.
Condon joined Forward Networks because he sees the network digital twin as foundational technology for the next era of IT operations.
“Enterprises are facing unprecedented complexity,” he said. “They’re being asked to modernize rapidly, migrate major workloads to the cloud, and prepare their networks for AI. If organizations lack precise, always-current network visibility, they cannot meet these expectations. Forward Networks delivers a level of insight teams have never had before, but now require to operate responsibly.”
In his first weeks, Condon met with customers who run the world’s largest and most regulated networks. Their feedback reinforced why the technology is rapidly becoming essential.
“Forward Networks' customer base is dominated by highly regulated companies with complex global networks where outages make headlines, and they depend on the network digital twin platform for daily operations. When these customers tell you they cannot imagine running their environment without the platform, you understand the responsibility and the opportunity.”
He also noted that new prospects often approach Forward with healthy skepticism, given the company’s promise of a level of network insight that has not historically been possible.
“That skepticism is understandable,” he said. “Most IT teams have been told for years that vendors can deliver outcomes that they could not deliver. When engineers and executives see the platform in action, the conversation shifts from whether it can be done to how quickly they can adopt it.”
As CRO, Condon will lead Forward Networks’ global sales expansion and focus on bringing the platform’s advanced capabilities to more enterprises and public-sector organizations. Achieving this vision requires alignment across sales, marketing, product, and customer success.
“Everyone contributes to customer outcomes,” he said. “Our mission is to help organizations operate their networks with complete clarity and confidence, and that requires a unified focus on value at every level.”
Condon’s appointment marks an important moment in Forward Networks’ trajectory. With AI adoption accelerating, operational demands increasing, and mission-critical networks under greater pressure than ever, precise network visibility and insight is mandatory for safe, predictable, and scalable operations.
The addition of CRO Bobby Condon, alongside the recent hiring of CMO Sanjay Mehta, bolsters the leadership team. This strategic move underscores Forward Networks' commitment to market leadership and its focus on rapidly expanding access to its essential technology for modern IT operations.
